How do I download the Snapchat Snap Camera app?

The desktop app allows users to choose from all the classic filters you know and love.

Users can choose the classic flower crown, making them digitally festival ready on any device, be it a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Start by downloading the app from your app store.

Windows users must double-click the .exe file to install it.

MacOS users should double-click on the .pkg file to install it.

The Snap app will then automatically sync with your computer’s camera, whether it’s a preinstalled camera or a camera from platforms like Skype or YouTube.

With Snap Camera open, you’ll see a preview of your computer’s physical webcam.

To apply a goal to the input video, simply select a goal from the presented goals.

Snapchat has also developed a custom app that integrates seamlessly with Twitch, allowing users to live stream in style.

Snap Camera is available as a free download on Mac and Windows.

How do I restart my webcam compatible application?

If your webcam-compatible app was running before you opened Snap Camera, you must restart the app to recognize Snap Camera the first time you use it.

For example, if you are using OBS, close and reopen OBS to see Snap Camera as a selectable camera.

Remember, if you don’t see Snap Camera as a selectable webcam, you’ll need to restart the app you’re using.

Browsers like Google Chrome must also be restarted before web apps like Google Hangouts can use Snap Camera.
