Samsung “Link to Windows “ functionality is very similar to that of Microsoft Your phone application ; It allows you to sync your Galaxy Note 10 series phone with your PC through its Quick Settings menu. Once signed in, you can access your messaging apps, notifications, photos, and other phone functions right from your Windows desktop.

  3. Once Link to Windows Service is installed, swipe down on your Galaxy phone screen to open Quick Settings.
  4. From the Quick Setup menu, tap the three stacked dots in the upper right corner, and then tap “Button order”.
  5. Faucet “Link to the Windows button” and add it to the Quick Settings panel.
  6. Back in the Quick settings menu, tap “Link to Windows”.
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions to link your phone to your PC. You will need a Microsoft account to complete this step. You will also need to grant any permissions requested by the app for the feature to work properly.

If all went well, you should see a highlighted PC icon in your phone’s quick settings when it’s connected to your PC. Now you can view phone notifications on your PC and use many basic features of your phone without having to leave your desktop or laptop. You didn’t get any special features you didn’t already have with the Your Phone app, but the implementation is nicer.
